1. Liquid Crystals and Supramolecular Self-Assembly

• Polymer liquid crystals
• Nanometre molecular objects - molecular spheres, cylinders, rods and superlattices
• Liquid crystal dendrimers
• Ferroelectric liquid crystals
• Organic ion-conducting channels and layers
• Light-emitting polymers

2. Crystallisation and Morphology of Polymers

• Novel layered structures and superlattices in long-chain molecules
• "Self-poisoning" crystallisation - anomalous kinetics of crystal growth in ultralong n-alkanes
